Happy Halloween, Angels! To celebrate, I’d like to tell you about a little guilty pleasure I partake in each fall: It’s the sheer joy of listening to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” during an evening run. Sure, it’s probably the most overplayed Halloween song outside of “Monster Mash,” but when you’re gliding over the autumn leaves at dusk, there’s something about “Thriller” that’s just, well, thrilling.

Awhile back, I warned against the creepiness of listening to classical music on an evening run, and “Thriller” works very much this same way — only it’s a good kind of creepy. So watch out for those straggling trick-or-treaters, crank up the tunes and have yourself a hauntedly happy Halloween. — Aidz
